“Summer Series” (Kid Pitch, 9U Tournament) - organized by Exeter Junior Baseball

See Age Calculator) or younger player from our Plains Division may apply to play in this six-week tournament hosted at fields throughout the Seacoast (i.e. Exeter, Seabrook, etc.).

District Teams As we have done for many years, PLL will field district teams at the
10U and
12U levels in 2024. (

If there is sufficient interest and volunteers, we will also field an
11U district team.
These teams play in the
District 2 tournament and, depending on their success, they may play in a regional tournament or even in the Little League World Series.
Participation on these teams require commitment from players and families for practices and games throughout the entire month of June and through mid/late July (and August if advancing beyond the district tournament.

MANDATORY MEETING:
At least one parent of each player who is interested in playing on a post season is required to attend at least one of the following post-season informational meetings:
Wednesday, May 7 at 8PM EST: Ideal to attend if you have questions BEFORE submitting an application OR may be applying for the first time.
And/Or...
Tuesday, May 13 at 8PM EST: Applications are May 12. This is not the time to ask questions about the application or required forms, but rather about the timeline and (likely) post-season schedules. We will convey expectations for all teams.

SELECTION PROCESS:Timeline of Selection:
- May 12: Applications Due
- May 14: Player Ballots Delivered to Regular Season Managers
- May 28: Completed Player Ballots Returned to PLL President
- May 29: Player Ballots Tallied
- May 29: PLL "Special" Board Meeting for Approval of Managers (8:30 PM)
- May 30: Approved Managers Contacted
- May 30: Selected Managers may recommend coaches for consideration for appointment and Board approval.
- May 31: PLL "Special" Board Meeting (4:30 PM) to approve recommended coaches and selected players. Once approved, families may be contacted.
- June 1: Players Contacted; Teams Posted
Selection Process for District and Postseason Teams – All Divisions
1. Interested players must complete an application for post season play and submit the application and all required paperwork to the president by the applicable deadline.
2. The president or the president’s designee will compile the list of players by age and regular season team. The compiled list will be provided to each team manager in respective divisions of play; team managers will confer with team coaches to select the top nine players. The selections will be sealed and given to the league president by the date specified.
3. The league president and two (2) elected members of the Executive Committee, who do not have a child on the ballot, will meet to count the ballots and calculate each player’s vote totals.
4. Players who receive more than 50% of the votes will be placed on the post season team of their division.
5. The post season team manager will add additional players to their team for a roster size of up to 13 (but no less than 12) players.
6. The final roster will be submitted to the full Board for approval on the date specified.
7. Team rosters will be posted on the PLL website and other approved social media platforms following the completion of the Board approved player notification time by the team manager.
