2025 Summer Ball

Portsmouth Little League will offer its summer baseball program for players not participating on a district team.

Teams are divided based on age and the number of teams depends on the number of registrants.

Coach Pitch - For ages 6-8, we offer coach pitch allowing younger players to focus on improving their baseball skills and having fun!
Player Pitch - Players who are 8/9/10 /11/12 will be placed on similar-aged/ability teams based on registration.

IMPORTANT: Picture summer ball as "sandlot" style.

NEW FOR 2025: Games may be played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings [5:30 - 6:00 pm start time].
NEW FOR 2025: There may be games on Saturdays, depending on the number of participants.
Games will be hosted at Hislop Park, Plains Field, and Central Field.
There are no make-up games in the case of inclement weather.
No practices (or optional, depending on coach and schedule).
No playoffs or championship.
No required commitment -- allowing players to go to camps, vacations, and other activities.
One volunteer coach required per team.
No umpires provided.

This is a simple opportunity for players to keep playing with their friends over the summer months.

Players will receive a team t-shirt and cap.
