More About the 11/12-Year-Old Division | Player Pitch (Hislop Division)
By this age, most players have several years of organized baseball experience. The focus of this division is to build on that foundation by strengthening positional play, expanding knowledge of game strategy, developing leadership, and—of course—having fun.
All games are played at Hislop Field:
46' pitching distance
60' base paths
225' outfield fence
Team Structure
The number of teams depends on total registrations.
Target roster size: 10–12 players per team. Occasionally, a team may roster 13 players.
Playing Time Requirements
To ensure fair participation for all players:
- Each player must receive at least one at-bat and six defensive outs per game
- All players must participate in three complete games during the regular season
- Players who miss games for reasons other than school or church commitments may forfeit complete-game eligibility
Special Division Rule
This division uses a continuous batting order, meaning every player on the roster is in the batting lineup, regardless of defensive position or substitutions.
