11U District Team Comes up Short vs. Salem in State Tournament

What a season for our 11U team!

Our 11U coaches took 14 kids — combined from three towns and six schools — to compete in the state tournament hosted by New Hampshire District One and District 2 Little Leagues.

After losing their first pool play game to Salem, Portsmouth won five in a row, including taking two thrilling come-from-behind wins.

Their 5-1 pool record gave Portsmouth the #3 seed, and they squared off vs. #2 Salem in the single elimination tournament on Thursday night. Portsmouth battled but fell to Salem 4-8 in their final game of the summer.

THANK YOU to the families and players for your dedication to friendship-building and baseball over the past month.

We are excited to see all that these kids in the fall and winter sports — and then back on the baseball field next Spring!
