2023 Season Updates

Portsmouth Little League's 73rd season will commence in 2023. Children aged 6 to 12 (age as of August 31, 2023) are eligible to play little league baseball in Portsmouth this year. Important dates to remember below:

Feb 1, 2023-March 3, 2023 - registration window
March 4, 2023 - late registration (additional fee applies)
March 12, 2023 - tryouts at Portsmouth High School gymnasium
April 15, 2023 - opening day ceremony at Leary Field followed by games

Changes this year:
- 13 year old players (age as of August 31, 2023). For options for 13 year old (and older) ballplayers options include middle school programs as well as Portsmouth Babe Ruth Baseball
- Registration fees will be increased to $125 per player this year ($60 for summer ball). Family discounts will still be applied. Financial assistance is available through the T-Mobile Grant Program and PLL scholarships.
